Felicity is a British actress that gained notoriety for her role as Jane Hawking, the protagonist in The Theory of Everything. Jones began acting at the age of twelve years old. She has worked as an actor in a variety of plays, television shows, and films. She began her career as a TV actress on The Treasure Seekers. In The Worst Witch she played Ethel Hallow. Then came Weirdsistersisters Sisters, a sequel of The Worst Witch. In her first feature film Flashbacks of a Fool (which she was a part of), Young Ruth, she continued to act in a variety of other films. In films like The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 she gained recognition for her performance. The role she played on the screen in The Theory of Everything was which earned her her first Oscar nomination. Jones was widely praised for her performance as Hawking's first wife. The film was based upon the life story of Stephen Hawking. Inferno with Tom Hanks was next on her list of credits. Jones was awarded her the British Artist of year award in 2016 from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles. It was awarded for her amazing talent and contribution towards cinema.
