Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actor who is known for her roles as lead actress in a variety of television shows and for her enthralling acting in films. Her work is a hit on Canadian as well as American television. Emily started acting when she was 12 after she had a visit with her elder sister Katie in one of Katie's films. When she realized her love for acting she started taking acting classes and went for auditions. Her first audition was for a small amount of advertisements and then was selected for Are You afraid of the Dark A Canadian horror show for kids. In one single scene she was not even speaking even a single word. The actress got her first big breakthrough at 15, when she got a role as a regular on The WB show Glory Days. Emily's performance in Glory Days, a show on WB, which was canceled 9 episodes later, drew the attention and casting of Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. A ballet dancer as well as a photographer Emily was featured in Teen as one of the most popular actresses who are under 20. Maxim placed her at number 51 in its Hot 100 of 2014.
