April Lockhart
April Lockhart is a born on July 4th in 1995. When she was in the 7th grade she began taking piano and guitar lessons. It was this that ignited her love for music writing. April Lockhart composed her first single"Different" at twelve years old. She spent lots of time when she was 14 making songs and practicing the piano. She started writing songs alongside her father at home in NY and LA soon after. April started to include other subjects in her book Take My Hand to help those of her peers who struggled with disabilities, peer pressure or suicide. Lockhart is an influencer in the beauty and lifestyle industry with a growing following. She is a partner with the popular brand Ilia with whom she has a partnership and is also an expert in the field of lifestyle. The disability she has is part of her personality, but it's not the entire image. The profile of Lockhart on Instagram does not conceal her handicap, but it doesn't concentrate solely on the issue. What message is it trying to convey? There is more to us than our physical selves. The identities we have are complex and encompass a variety of elements. Lockhart stated in a video interview that she does not want to be defined solely by her physical disability. She doesn't want to be a disability advocate who only speaks about it. There are a lot of aspects to Lockhart. The issue doesn't affect my everyday routine. I conduct the same way as I always do and have come up with my own methods to adjust. This is a major aspect of my existence, therefore it's important to talk about the subject. The journey of self-acceptance that Lockhart has taken is one that can last for a long time, and she has been a source of inspiration for this purpose. Lockhart admits to having been through times when she was uncomfortable dressing in certain styles that exposed her arms. She dresses according to her preferences and is proud to post pictures of herself wearing the clothes she wears on social platforms. Self-love, she says is a journey. It's hard to say whether you'll get to the point of no return. It's a long journey. I'm not sure you'll ever get there. It is important to have people around you who are aware of and can relate to your situation. They'll be the ones to ask what you fret about?
