Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou, the oldest of four siblings was born on August 8, 1976 in Beaumont Puy-de-Domme. The parents of Audrey Tautou, both a dental dentist as well as a teacher, understood and supported their daughter's passion for acting and drama on a young stage. The support they provided is more than enough for Audrey to combat her ambition to be a the first primatologist. The early success of her career and the rapid growth in popularity made her a promising young actor. Recently, she exhibited a selection images at Arles Film Festival. Arles Film Festival under the name Superficial. Her work is focused on celebrities and the fame. Audrey Tautou's worldwide popularity and success exploded following her appearance as Amelie Poulain's leading woman in Le Fabuleux in the film d'Amelie. Amelie was a box office success and received acclaim at awards galas across the world. It's the largest French language film ever on the US. The success of this movie has led to Tautou being cast in a range of roles, from British dramas like Dirty Pretty Things by Stephen Knight and Jean Pierre Jeunet to Hollywood's The Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks.
